GREG COLEMAN NAMED POV SPORTS MARKETING SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT


WAYNE, Pa. (Jan. 10, 2019) – Industry veteran Greg Coleman joins POV Sports Marketing as senior vice president to lead brand strategy and activation for the boutique firm and its growing portfolio.

            Coleman, a noted sports marketing and sponsorship executive with nearly 20 years of experience managing partnerships for global marquee brands, has been consulting with agency and brand clients this year in review of their sports strategies. He is the former vice president, consulting for Lagardѐre Sports & Entertainment in New York, NY, where he served three years leading campaigns and overall agency management of Bridgestone Americas’ Olympic athlete strategy for Rio and PyeongChang. He also led Bridgestone’s extensive NFL partnership, managing assets, campaigns and talent partnerships with all engaged league teams.

            Additionally, Coleman served 14 years with Genesco Sports Enterprises, most recently as vice president, client services in NY where he led and negotiated respective strategies, activations and related partnership assets for Pepsi, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. He played an integral role in directing Pepsi’s NFL, MLB and NHL partnerships; T-Mobile’s MLB activation and integration; as well as Verizon Wireless’ NFL relationship including more than 300 talent agreements, hospitality programs and marketing solutions. Coleman’s first two years with Genesco surrounded Pepsi’s college football platform and NCAA partnership.
