POV in the Press: Rothman Orthopaedic Institute taps Main Line firm to help grow sports marketing footprint

Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has selected Wayne-based POV Sports Marketing to serve as the specialty physician practice's first sports marketing agency of record.
POV Sports Marketing will manage and activate Rothman's respective sports partnerships across its growing geographic footprint, and help with any future deals for its brand.
Rothman has existing sports marketing deals with the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers and Phillies. It also has sponsorship deals with Villanova University Athletics, Saint Joseph’s University Athletics, the Big East Conference, the Radio City Rockettes and the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association.
Founded in Center City 52 years ago, Rothman's doctors now provide orthopedic care at 39 locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Florida.
"Rothman Orthopaedics is always looking for new and innovative ways to increase our brand value as well as connect with potential patients through the sports partnership lens," said Dr. Alexander Vaccaro, Rothman's president.
POV Sports was founded in 2016 by industry veteran Molly Arbogast. The firm's services include sponsorship strategy, negotiation, management, and activation; deal valuation; promotions and athlete endorsements. Its clients include Wawa, Firstrust Bank, Stroehmann Bakeries and Axalta.

POV Sports Senior Vice President Greg Coleman will lead the Rothman account, while Casey Cardillo, a director at the firm, will handle day-to-day management and activation planning.
